CSI AND FUNDING

Because all communities deserve the best care

All facilities, regardless of the communities in which they’re located, should conform to the standards identified through the Department of Social Development (DSD). Using the ICRA Framework, which is based on Government Prescripts, we ensure that all the facilities in our care, do.

Our aim

At ICRA, we’re committed to not only building, but also maintaining a legacy of good citizenship. We can achieve this and assist other organisations to achieve their Corporate Social Responsibility objectives, through the support of those facilities typically located in underprivileged communities, which we have included within our CSI portfolio.

All CSI projects are aimed at making an enduring difference to the lives of all beneficiaries concerned.

Our CSI portfolio is re-assessed on an annual basis to ensure that projects and facilities supported, continue to meet the needs of beneficiaries and the communities in which they reside.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Support of Facilities

Privately funded facilities, as well as organisations from any sector of the economy, may apply to sponsor the expenses related to the management of facilities from low income areas. Though these facilities do receive state subsidies, these rarely cover the expenses required to provide the proper care that elderly need. Additionally, the family of elderly residents are seldom in a position to provide any support whatsoever. We welcome any offer for funding. Donations of goods that are needed and monthly contributions are the most helpful forms of support that you can offer.

Support of Projects

We have a range of specific projects which are aimed at upgrading facilities, or providing for specific needs that may not be funded by the state. Private facilities and organisations may sponsor any one of these projects, and direct involvement can be tailored according to the abilities and resources available to the sponsor.

Brainchild initiatives

We encourage individuals to come forward with their own initiatives that will enable us to improve any of the underprivileged facilities under our care.

REPORTING

As ICRA operates within the structures of a highly regulated framework, detailed reporting on a monthly and annual basis, ensures complete transparency for all sponsors and partners.
